South Shore Stingrays Soccer Club

Background

The South Shore Stingray Soccer Club began in 1997 as the Blue Angels which was an all-girls team in Plymouth Mass. The Blue Angels saw immediate results and was a dominant team in the area. As the team(s) grew and in 2005 the Blue Angels became known as South Shore Stingray Soccer Club. The club soon added a few more girls team before joining the Northeast Soccer League (NSL) in 2005. The philosophy changed a bit in 2007 when the club decided to grow the club from the ground-up and open it up to much younger players – with always trying to make it a very good value for soccer families in the Plymouth area.

The South Shore Stingrays took off in 2009 when they added their first boys teams and hired additional coaches and a director of coaching. By the end of 2009 the club had more than twelve teams. While the cost of a premier soccer club should not be the tipping point to making a decision on choosing a club, the South Shore Stingrays have a affordable soccer club as you can see by the cost structure below.
